Welcome to Forest Forager Mushroom Farm!
We grow mushrooms because we love life, we love people, and we love the place we live.
Together, we started Forest Forager, a small-scale mushroom farm in the heart of the RRG, Kentucky. We are passionate about providing high-quality food mushrooms to our community and beyond.
Where did it begin? Moriah studied Health and Human Performance and Elijah, Sustainable Agriculture.
We then spent a year traveling the world on the Watson fellowship researching the intersection of regenerative agriculture, community resiliency, wilderness preservation, and small-scale tourism. We traveled to eight countries and 85 destinations.
After a year of traveling and research, we count it a great privilege to return to our home and become part of the local food system, supplying high-quality protein to RRG and the surrounding communities.
